And so marks the end of our beach storyline. I always like getting the characters out of the immediate “geek environment” on occasion.
However, starting next Tuesday, to launch the beginnings of convention season (in fact, I’ll be heading to San Diego next Wednesday), the SubCulture crew will begin their annual trek to Super Con. Trust me, hijinks ensue, and you fans of Miyoko will be in for a treat, as she features prominently in this storyline!
What’s a nice day on the beach without a tasty sno-cone? I prefer rainbow flavor!
And check out the cameos in panel 3–Jamie and Hazel from Girls with Slingshots, and JEFBOT and the Cornfather from JEFBOT. I hope Danielle and Jeff don’t mind.
I like this one. General Rajaxx and his Quiraji Warriors are real baddies in World of Warcraft–arguably the toughest boss in the entire game.
And leave it to Noel to bring the liquor. Thank God she knows how to manage her alcohol consumption, right?
Right?
Speaking of which, I have an idea for a SubCulture storyline which tackles a more serious issue, where a laugh-a-day might not be as appropriate. Would you all be interested in a story like that, or do you prefer the standard funny fare? I’d love to hear what you think.
This is one of those strips that is fun to look at and see all the little things that you can find in there.
Miyoko could use a cheeseburger, that’s for sure!
Aah, don’t you love arguments about which comic company is better, and which hero can beat up which other hero? I don’t.
Here are close-ups of the comics that Beth and Travis are reading. Beth is reading Nuculer Kids #1 (spelled incorrectly on purpose), while Travis has Tales of Wombat #1.

Because YOU demanded it, Beth is BACK! (well, at least for a while).
We’ll see how our hormone-tormented 14 year-old Travis can handle this new predicament!
And who doesn’t enjoy a little sexual innuendo, eh?
Here it is, kids, the final chapter in Dave Dwonch’s eight-part guest run. I wanted to publicly thank him for filling in for Stan. We got a ton of positive feedback, and would like to hear what you all thought of the storyline we did for Dave.
Trust me–you are going to see a lot more of Merlin’s Outhouse in the near future, so stay tuned. You KNOW it has to be pretty special if Skip is wearing WHITE for the first time EVER!
And we hope you continue to read David Dwonch’s Space Time Condominium!
Stan re-joins us on Tuesday!
Well, we finally have a little insight into what kind of girls Skip likes. Lord knows what he is going to end up doing with those snapshots.
And don’t forget to check out Mr. Dwonch’s junk at http://www.spacetimecondo.com!

Part Two of our David Dwonch guest strip extravaganza!
Bart has selected the right pair for the job. I suspect Arthur and Skip will be about as unassuming and anonymous as anyone on earth.
Right…?
If you haven’t already, thoroughly investigate Dwonch’s business at spacetimecondo.com.
As an aside, today is the last day of classes. Final exams start next week, graduation is a week from Saturday, and then Summer Vacation (in caps on purpose) officially begins! Believe it or not, professors look forward to the holidays just as much as our students do!

Here it is folks, the debut of David Dwonch as our guest artist for an eight-part Oscar award-winning story about new comic/gaming store competition in town.
Everyone give David a nice SubCulture welcome! And if you aren’t familiar with is work, take a look at his own webstrip, Space Time Condominium, updated every Wednesday!
And as always, I encourage comments. I’d love to see the number of comments that we have each strip go up bunches and bunches. Heck, we can turn this place into a genuine discussion board, perhaps!
