Don’t feel too bad; the clock on the VCR in my college apartment was permanently flashing 12:00, and three of the people in the apartment were electrical engineering majors.
What’s worse is that every component has it’s own, equally confusing, remote. Personally, I highly recommend the Logitech Harmony universal remote… “Watch TV” is a button I can get comfortable with.
Ah, we’ve had countless universal remotes with our cable tv and other peripherals, but our TV is too old to support any of the remotes, so we have the stack of remotes on our coffee table.
i fell in here from jefbots, it’s like a universe of jeffettes. aaahhhhhh – i’ve got to get out of here. plus, i just accidently read “from the farm to your fridge” now i’m freaked out and i casually want to hurl. it was nice visiting your world, but now i have to go back…
so sorry Xinda found her way over here, you guys. just leave the door open and don’t make eye contact, and she might wander out without hurting anybody. other than that, great strip! love the “fish eye” lens look of that last panel.
Thanks, Jeff. And, we don’t mind Xinda coming over here at all. In fact, we hope a lot of your JefBot regulars make it over here to discover our nerdy goodness.
you need to be a level 15 paladin with 4d4 hitpoints, charisma of 27, intelligence of 77, wisdom of 77, willpower of 99. lol
LOL! You mean 15d44 hit points
(Hmmm… a 44-sided die… is that possible?)
Isn’t there like a 24-sided die? I suppose a 44-sider is possible. Paging Mr. Zocci….
