This is a reference to one of those HGTV shows a few years ago, where one of the home decorators hung moss on a client’s wall as a form of “decoration.” Needless to say, they weren’t too happy about it. I wouldn’t like it either.

Ok, they dont know each other, I give up my foolish hope… Still what kind of decorator doesnt discuss with the person who will use the space their preferences? Hopefully they havent already discussed it with the customer aka Noels mother dearest.
Yeah, this is mom’s baby. She’s a take charge kind of person.
I see Noel wouldn’t give up her cap with her frilly peasant clothes. Sadly there are plenty of moms out there who really are this overbearing.
I saw that episode in question with a few of my friends. We all said the same thing: “What about chiggers, man!”
Didn’t designer Hildy also affix straw all over somebody’s wall?
Probably. They did some weird stuff on that show. And I’m impressed–I can’t recall the last time someone used the word “affix”!
Ha. I think I saw that one on TLC.
I think she also put up feathers on another person’s walls and glued faked flowers to a bathroom wall. Genevieve was the one hanging live moss on the wall if I recall correctly.
