Here’s the not-so-exciting conclusion to our 13-part storyline. Not quite as dramatic as a lot of you were hoping, I suspect, but I wanted to show that, given Bart’s lack of surprise, that he might be a little smarter than we think he is. He probably has suspected that Jason and Sunny really do have some affection for one another–and who is he to get in the way of that.
Now Larry, on the other hand…we’ll have to wait and see.
In other news, the next storyline (which is a WHOPPER, btw) will be intermixed with guest artists, as Stan needs a little time to catch up on other projects. You’ll see the first guest artist, in fact, on Tuesday! I hope you enjoy!
I like this for ending. Makes me like Bart that much more. Sometimes in a sdtory it’s a pleasant surprise when the drama is avoided.
But maybe Bart will to lure Sunny over to his side and form an alliance with her.
Seems to me that Bart is aware that both stores came out of the competition well. Larry I bet, not so much! I’ve always liked Bart, now more so.
As to guest artists, bring ‘em on!
Awh, poor Jason, thinking he’s being all sneaky and stuff. Too bad for him, Bart is now even more awesome! I cant wait to see how Larry will go with it, though.
I foresee Nuclear Larry. And, it’s hilarious when people think they are being all sneaky and secretive and it’s obvious everyone knows.

I’m still not sure what Kevin intended, but that means Bart has been spending some of his hard-earned auction money on subsidizing Jason’s love life. What a guy!
Well, I think that by getting the info about free comicbook day and having an awesome artist come to the store, bart got what he wanted. I can imagine that that brought TONS of revenue to him that day (what with people buying stuff to be signed, picking up any other “oh hey, while i’m here i should get —–” sales, and if hes any decent geek store, snacks and drinks). I personally could have seen bart forgetting about the jason/sunshine seduction thing fairly quickly once he got his money XD
Not to mention all the pugs that got adopted!
