Here we get a quick peek at what life is like for Bart when the doors are closed. Back in the old days when I was running a comic book store, doing the Previews Order each month was both fun and a nightmare, and I suspect now it is worse than it was back then.
Just as an aside, our next multi-part story, starting with Strip 201, is going to center around our ever-lovable comic book store owner Bart!

This is something I designed a t-shirt for awhile back, Phil — A cat happily lying in a bowl of rice playing with a pair of chopsticks — although I discountinued it, since they were expensive to produce (I was doing them on blue baseball shirts).
