Everyone at $25 or higher is going to get a nifty polyhedral magnet from our friends at World of Dice.

We also are upgrading everyone who ordered a TPB to spot color, which will fully reflect everything as it originally appeared in the comics and on the website.  Hardcover orders will now be full cloth covers with foil inlay, along with a nifty dust jacket.

If we hit $4000, we will do a new, full-color full page strip that will appear in the book, and will add another one for every $500 we receive after that.

If we hit $4500, everyone at the $25 or higher level will get a neat set of 12 SubCulture trading cards.

We thank everyone who has given so far, and hope we can make a nice end-push during these last 2 1/2 days!

I hope you are still hanging around.  Stan and I wanted you to know that we have launched a Kickstarter campaign to create a TPB that collects not only all 501 webcomics, but also the original four issue minis series, as well as all the guest strips, pin ups, and other things that have ever been printed.  336 pages total!

Give the campaign a look, and I hope you will consider making a donation.  We really want to see this book in print!

501: Th-th-that’s all, folks

Here you have it, friends.  The last SubCulture strip for at least the foreseeable future.  This one is particularly special.  Stan hand drew this one–something that he hasn’t done for about 300 strips.  He also did watercolors for the highlights, and I think the quality speaks for itself.  Virtually everyone who is a major character is in this, except Larry (who we might not argue as being ‘major’).

Stan and I both wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support.  We really love doing this comic, and there still are plenty of more tales to be told, should we ever decide to start things up again.

We also will keep our store open if you have a desire to purchase something, and we will continue to use this blog to let you know what we might be doing at any particular time.

This concludes our storyline, both for this and for SubCulture as a whole.  We have one more strip coming up next Friday as a treat to everyone, but this is our 500th strip, so enjoy!

I thought really hard on what to include in our last strip.  I wanted something that made everyone go “aww,” but at the same time wanted to include a pop culture reference that everyone would appreciate.  And most of fandom enjoys Han and Leia’s lines in Empire Strikes Back.  My wife still cries, and has seen it 100 times.  Which is still about 200 times fewer than I have seen it.
